In 1975, Vitasoy introduced Tetra Pak carton packaging technology to Hong Kong. At that time, this cutting-edge, Swedish packaging technology was unprecedented and revolutionary. It provided convenience in storage and made consumption on-the-go possible. By adopting the Ultra High Temperature (UHT) Treatment to package the product in aseptic conditions, it extends the shelf life of beverages, allowing a longer storage period of a product at an ambient temperature, with no preservatives added while maintaining the great quality of the product.

EDUCATION PROGRAMME
In October 2019, Vitasoy launched Hong Kong’s first Beverage Carton Clean Recycling Education Programme with an aim to promote the recovery and recycling of clean beverage cartons among students and the public, thus reducing waste from landfill.
